CREW OPERATOR

We are looking for a Crew Operator to strengthen our NL based crewing department and growth of our organization. You will be working in a small but enthusiastic team who are attending the 250 high-qualified professionals who are working each day on our vessels in projects all around the world.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will have the task to coordinate assigned vessels together with our Operations, Technical and Commercial department. Your daily responsibilities will be as below:

• Local point of contact person for all seafarers and involved parties regarding crewing related arrangements
• Coordinate planning, crew change arrangements, accommodation, transport and all other requirements in a cost and time efficient manner for crew onboard our vessels.
• Monitoring the validity of crewmembers’ documents such as travel documents, certificates and plan crew for various trainings- and development programs.
• Taking care of administration concerning placement of crew, proper contracts and timesheets
• Keeping knowledge of Flag state and international regulations (MLC/STCW)
• Liaising and maintaining contact with crew agencies worldwide regarding hired seafarers
• Preliminary control of payroll and invoices
• Periodically visiting our vessels and keep in close contact with crew

You are a person who can quickly adapt and prioritize. You are a natural problem solver who likes to coordinate and make arrangements on a daily base. No day will be same, this will provide you the much-needed challenge.

PROFILE

• MBO-/HBO-level education
• Interpersonal skill with the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
• Team player and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written knowledge of the Dutch & English language.
• Affinity with maritime industry
