Successful refloating

Dian Kingdom was a mere 8 hours away when a distress call came in. A bulker named "Defender" found itself stuck on a sandy predicament in position 56°05'N 011°12'E, just north of Kalundborg. Laden with a substantial 10,000 tons of cargo. Dian Kingdom's skilled crew guided by the Salvage Master successfully refloated the "Defender". The best part? No signs of pollution were detected throughout the salvage operation.

Introducing the Sea Eidum – a powerful addition to our fleet!

In an intimate christening ceremony set against the backdrop of the Seacontractors Headquarters, we joyfully welcomed the first Neptune Marine-built EuroCarrier 2611, named Sea Eidum, to our esteemed fleet at Seacontractors. This momentous occasion was graced by Anne Janisse, the wife of our Middle East Commercial Director, Maarten Brasser.

The arrival of Hinkley Point C’s first reactor

The first new nuclear reactor for a British power station in more than 30 years has arrived in Somerset. At just 13-metres long and weighing 500-tonnes, the “reactor pressure vessel” will create the heat needed to make steam for the world’s largest turbines. This reactor will help provide enough low carbon electricity for 3m homes and will help Britain achieve Net Zero and stronger energy security
