From the North Sea to the Persian/Arabian Gulf, Seacontractors has operated on some of the world’s most demanding oil and gas projects - both on- and offshore.

The Safaniya oil field is operated and owned by Saudi Aramco, located 200km north of Dhahran in the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia. This is one of the largest offshore oil fields in the world, with 37 billion barrels of oil reserves. This is just one of the prestigious projects where Seacontractors operates vessels and crew.

Our vessels and project qualified (Saudi Aramco) crew assist during offshore and subsea construction works consisting of amongst others: cable laying, pipe-laying, towing, anchor handling, commissioning and decommissioning of platforms in the oil and gas fields.

Towage

Seacontractors vessels regularly sails from ports all over the world to perform sea towages. Towages are performed in various conformations, whether it’s a hull, a dry-dock, barges, floating cranes or other dredging, renewable and offshore equipment. Our vessels are designed for long-distance ocean towages.

Seacontractors offers an all-in solution, depending on the specific requirements of our clients. From preparing the voyage (weather conditions, wave heights, currents, ports of refuge etc.), a towing plan including the design and strength of the equipment, arranging a suitable leading tug and/or assisting tug(s), arrange a port call, to all communications with authorities. Seacontractors has a proven track record of safely delivering of towed objects. With our experienced crew, we operate a 24/7 service throughout the year.

Our usual work scopes are anchor handling, towing, pulling, pushing and positioning of barges, hose handling, buoy installation, assisting with shore landing of export cables and many other duties within the scope of work.
